Create or re-design a book using a traditional print layout. Instead of choosing a commercially printed story the book I chose was a collection of my Great Great-Grandma's poetry. I re-designed the book to include family photos and a poem introduction that I personally wrote. *I also kept all of her original typos for nostalgia
Through the Looking Glass Creative Layouts
Take an existing story and create a book design that utilizes a creative layout. The layout design must be rooted in an image, quote or design from the chosen story.
Buffy the Vampire slayer typography yearbook
Create a coffee table book in the theme of a chosen topic, using expressive typography to represent themes from said topic. As an added challenge I chose to make mine resemble Type Themes from 1999. We were also tasked to include our own hand drawn type in the final design.
